Based on Florida’s Space Coast, Katie’s work spans writing, theatre, music, podcasting and entrepreneurship.

Author

Katie is the author of Legacy List: How to Create a Life that Will Outlive You, a book that grew from a deeply personal experience: he mother’s diagnosis with early-onset Alzheimer’s. That experience prompted Katie to reconsider how we measure a life and what it means to leave a legacy.

Katie’s writing background includes journalism, freelance writing and editing. She also explores purpose and intentional living through The Legacy List Podcast and workshops that help participants discover their “why.”

Performer

Her creative performing work encompasses voice, acting and musical theatre, along with teaching and directing. Favorite performing roles include Stephanie Necropholous in Nine, Diana Goodman in Next to Normal, Meredith Parker in Bat Boy: The Musical, and Mrs. Cratchit in A Christmas Carol.

Small Business Owner

Katie founded Space Coast Performing Arts in March 2024, opening with five students and a vision for accessible, welcoming arts education. Since then, the studio has served hundreds of families through private lessons, classes, camps and productions.

Katie lives on Florida’s Space Coast with her husband, Brant, and their children (and dogs). She co-hosts Generation In Between: A Xennial Podcast with her friend Dani, revisiting the pop culture and shared experiences of being 80’s kids and 90’s teens.
